Colby Smith works in the Firm’s Municipal and Litigation Groups. Prior to joining the firm, Colby was the Executive Director of the Delaware River Mill Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the maintenance and preservation of a historic site and park owned by the State of New Jersey. Prior to that, Colby worked in the Public Defender’s Office of Parental Representation. He also has experience working with a firm that specializes in legal malpractice.
Colby received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He received his law degree from the University of Connecticut. While in law school, Colby participated on the Moot Court Board, worked as an intern with the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and on a Human Rights Practicum for the Iraqi War Tribunal.
