Carla Zappi is an associate with GluckWalrath LLP whose practice focuses on municipal law, litigation, and land use. Carla served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John L. Call, Jr., P.J.F.P. and the Honorable John Tomasello, J.S.C. in Burlington County, New Jersey during the 2015-2016 term. Prior to joining GluckWalrath, Carla was an associate at a firm in central New Jersey where she focused her practice in general litigation, PIP defense and real estate tax appeals.
Carla received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers College where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics, and obtained her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Camden. While in law school, Carla served as a Staff Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy, was as a student attorney with the Rutgers Law Clinic, and served as Secretary on the Executive Board of the Women’s Law Caucus. Upon graduation, Carla received the law school’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Significant Service as well as the 2015 Horace Wu and Kate King Pro Bono Award which recognized her service to the community through the Rutgers-Camden Pro Bono Program.
